By Train
From Penn Station in Manhattan (34th St between 7th and 8th Ave) you’ll ride the Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) to the Mastic Shirley station. The ride over from the city is just over two hours, and an Uber or cab (MRB Taxi 631.882.4489) to the Brookhaven-Calabro Airport is about 6 minutes.
By Subway
Head to Queens. From here, you have a few options:
You can get off at the Jamaica Center – Parsons/Archer Station and grab an Uber or cab for the hour drive to the DZ, or if you prefer to have less of a car ride, you can get off at the Sutphin Blvd-Archer Av-JFK Station. From here, you’ll hop on the LIRR at the Jamaica station and get off at Mastic Shirley.
Please note, if the arrival and departure times at Mastic-Shirley do not fit your schedule, you can also take the LIRR to Ronkonkoma Station and catch an Uber to the drop zone.
